We aim to initiate and sustain a scheme that enables the people of Bradford on Avon to access locally grown fruit and vegetables, and learn about their production through active participation. Our target is to provide a weekly share of high quality, low cost, organically produced fresh fruit and vegetables to a maximum number of around 100 co-operative members. We are creating a beautiful co-operatively run market garden, which will help it's members to form a strong community group. We hold regular educational and social events. In the future we aim to facilitate learning opportunities, from horticulture and tree grafting through to outdoor cookery and food preservation techniques. |
